Congratulating the new recruits, Khudian said government employment carried a responsibility to serve the public. He urged the appointees to perform their duties with honesty, dedication and a commitment to public welfare.

Highlighting the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government’s employment initiatives, the minister said more than 70,000 government jobs had been provided since Bhagwant Singh Mann assumed office as Chief Minister.

The department has recruited 56 Dairy Development Inspectors (Grade-II), seven clerks, three Clerk-IT personnel, five stenotypists, two assistant chemists and two drivers. These appointments, along with 20 Sewadars and three Sweeper-cum-Chowkidars, bring the total to 98 employees.

The latest appointments form part of the state government’s stated focus on providing employment opportunities to young people and strengthening public services through recruitment.
