Actor Esha Deol attended a Diwali celebration with her ex-husband Bharat Takhtani on Saturday, with the former couple posing together for photographers at the event.
Esha opted for a pastel-pink saree featuring a floral border, paired with a matching blouse. She completed her festive look with open hair, light makeup and matching jewellery. Bharat wore a beige bandhgala.
Esha and Bharat married in a traditional South Indian ceremony at Mumbai’s ISKCON temple in June 2012. They have two daughters, Radhya, born in 2017, and Miraya, born in 2019.
In February 2024, the couple announced their separation after more than 11 years of marriage. Their joint statement said, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us.” They also requested privacy.
The former couple are believed to have maintained cordial relations and continue to co-parent their daughters.
On October 12, Esha shared a birthday wish for Bharat on behalf of their daughters through her Instagram Stories. Posting his photograph, she wrote, “Happy birthday Dadaa. Stay blessed, happy, healthy & strong”.
Earlier, in May, Esha and Bharat had also attended a friendly lunch with close friends. Actress Smriti Khanna shared a group photograph from the gathering featuring filmmaker and actor Jackky Bhagnani, fitness coach Satya, Gautam Khanna and others. Esha later reshared the picture.
