Actor Arjun Rampal is currently in Georgia ahead of the shoot for his upcoming film Operation Ganga, taking time to explore the picturesque city of Tbilisi before beginning work on the project.
The Om Shanti Om actor shared a video on Instagram documenting a long walk through the Georgian capital. He described Tbilisi as a charming, historic and quaint city while saying he missed his loved ones during his time away.
Rampal also spoke about his excitement for Operation Ganga, revealing that he was in Georgia a day before the shoot was scheduled to begin. He described the film’s script as “quite a crazy script” and said he was looking forward to starting work.
The film also stars Mohanlal, Bhagyashri Borse, Parthiban and Adil Hussain. Set against the backdrop of India’s evacuation mission following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, Operation Ganga will explore the experiences of Indian citizens, including thousands of students, who were stranded in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Rampal recently wrapped another project, Imtiaz Ali’s O Saathi Re, which also features Aditi Rao Hydari and Avinash Tiwary.
Marking the wrap, Rampal shared pictures with Ali and Hydari on Instagram and described the project as something special. He said he would miss the team and expressed happiness at finally being directed by his college friend Imtiaz Ali.
O Saathi Re is set to release on Netflix.
