For First Time in Punjab’s History, Govt Has Delivered Every Promise Made in its Manifesto: AAP’s Baltej Pannu

Chandigarh, June 22, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has fulfilled all the guarantees it had given to the people of Punjab during the 2022 Assembly elections. AAP PunjabMedia In-Charge Baltej Pannu on Monday said that the government has completed all preparations to implement its final guarantee, the ‘Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna’, and the benefit under the scheme will start reaching women’s bank accounts from July 1 as announced by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann.

Baltej Pannu said that under the scheme, an amount covering three months, i.e. ₹3,000, will be transferred to the bank account of every eligible woman from all other categories, and women belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category will receive ₹4,500 in their bank accounts for the same period. He said the process of crediting the amount will begin effectively from July 1.

AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu said, “The Aam Aadmi Party government has fulfilled all the guarantees it had made before the 2022 Assembly elections. With the implementation of the Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna, the last remaining guarantee is also being fulfilled.”

He further said, “Apart from fulfilling all the promises made in the election manifesto, the Bhagwant Mann Government has also launched and implemented several welfare schemes and public-centric initiatives that were never part of the manifesto. These decisions have directly benefited people from every section of society.”

Baltej Pannu said that for the first time in the history of Punjab, a government has fulfilled 100% of the promises made in its election manifesto. “The Bhagwant Mann Government does not believe in making promises merely for electoral gains.

It believes in delivering on every commitment made to the people. This government has set a new benchmark of accountability and public service by ensuring that every guarantee given to the people is honoured,” he added.
