Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr Ravjot Singh on Sunday paid obeisance at Dera Sachkhand Ballan and met its head, Sant Niranjan Dass Ji, to congratulate him on being conferred the prestigious Padma Shri by the President of India for his outstanding contribution to spirituality and social service.
During the visit, Dr Ravjot Singh described the national honour as a matter of pride not only for Dera Sachkhand Ballan but also for the people of Punjab and the country.
He said Sant Niranjan Dass Ji has dedicated his life to the service of humanity, promotion of social equality, communal harmony and spiritual values. The Cabinet Minister appreciated the Dera’s continued efforts in public welfare, stating that its initiatives have inspired society and contributed to strengthening the values of unity and brotherhood.
Dr Ravjot Singh noted that Dera Sachkhand Ballan has consistently worked towards spreading the message of equality, humanity and social harmony. He said the institution’s contributions in the fields of education, healthcare, social welfare and humanitarian service under the guidance of Sant Niranjan Dass Ji have earned widespread appreciation both in India and abroad.
The Minister also sought the blessings of Sant Niranjan Dass Ji and offered prayers for the peace, prosperity and overall development of Punjab and the well-being of its people.
