Gurdwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), showcasing the journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib from his birth till martyrdom. Documentary also highlights meaning of Gurdwara, Hind – di – Chadar, rare life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur. A significant Pictorial Brochure on the Life Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib by Harpreet Sandhu, State Information Commissioner Punjab was released and shared within the sangat.
This documentary film has been dedicated to ongoing 405th Prakash Purab and 350th Martyrdom Day Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, compiled by Harpreet Sandhu was released by the President – management of Patshahi Dasveen, Sukhjinder Singh Behl, Satnam Singh Randhawa and Inderpal Singh Dhanna,

in presence of the citizens of Chandigarh, with aim to project the universal teachings of world peace, protection of human rights and promotion of human solidarity as articulated by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib through his supreme sacrifice in Delhi in 1675.
The documentary is a tribute to the sacred memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, who was a fearless warrior for righteousness, a learned spiritual scholar and poet, whose 115 hymns are included in Guru Granth Sahib.
President, Gurdwara Patshahi Dasveen, Sukhjinder Singh Behl, lauded the dedicated efforts of Harpreet Sandhu and said that the documentary is a spiritual tribute that not only narrates the divine journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib but also instills a deep sense of pride in our glorious Sikh history.
Harpreet Sandhu has done commendable sewa by creating this meaningful visual offering which will serve as a tribute to the unparalleled sacrifice, divine wisdom, and spiritual voyage of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Prominent personalities from all sections of society of Chandigarh previewed the documentary and appreciated the pious pictorial work compiled by Harpreet Sandhu, State Information Commissioner, Punjab as a noble gesture for community emphasizing that such visual representations are essential to educate the younger generation about Sikh history, values, and the essence of sacrifice and righteousness.
They praised the meticulous research on the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, aesthetic presentation, and the devotional essence reflected in the documentary.
Addressing the gathering, Harpreet Sandhu, State Information Commissioner, Punjab, expressed his humble gratitude for the support extended by the Gurdwara Management and shared that the documentary is a tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, whose life continues to guide humanity toward courage, equality, and spiritual resilience.
He mentioned that the film is aimed at spreading awareness about the Guru’s teachings beyond the Sikh community and reinforcing the ideals of unity and compassion.
The event concluded with the screening of the documentary, which was received with reverence and appreciation by the sangat. The management of Gurdwara Patshahi Dasveen, Chandigarh, announced plans to disseminate the film across educational institutions and organizations to ensure widespread outreach and understanding of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s legacy.
