Television actress Nia Sharma has embraced a more relaxed approach to beauty, saying she is equally comfortable going without make-up while joking that anyone can become a “diva” after getting dressed up.
Nia shared a series of pictures on social media showcasing her make-up-free appearance alongside a few photographs in which she was fully styled.
“Don’t mess with a girl who’s living a makeup-free life with equal ease … makeup karke to koi Divaaaa ban jata hai (anyone can become a diva with make-up). To a fuss free life,” she wrote in the caption.
The actress had recently spoken about the contrast between her polished Instagram appearances and her everyday look. She opened up about embracing dark circles, untidy hair and feeling bloated, offering a candid glimpse into her life away from the camera.
In another social media post, Nia jokingly described herself sitting in bed, looking “homeless”, considering whether to take a shower and watching her waist after eating.
“The IG videos we post and how we’re looking at the moment are two extremes, gets hard to deal with your own self,” she wrote, adding that she might simply be bored and need to “get in my element again.”
Nia was recently seen in the 16th season of the reality show Splitsvilla, hosted by Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra. She also appeared in the latest edition of Laughter Chefs Fun Unlimited.
The actress is known for her roles in television shows including Behenein, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Meri Durga and Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha. She also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India in 2020 and emerged as the winner.
Nia has also appeared in web series such as Twisted and Jamai 2.0.
