America is Troubled by India’s Progress: Sant Seechewal Appeals Middle Eastern Nations to Free Themselves from American Influence

Delhi/Chandigarh, June 17, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Rajya Sabha Member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal referred to the centuries-old relationship between India and Iran and stated that America is uncomfortable with India’s progress. In a press statement issued here, Sant Seechewal said that India currently possesses the world’s largest youth power.

Indians continue to hold influential positions in many of the world’s leading business institutions. He further stated that former U.S. President Donald Trump, who had forced the world to endure inflationary pressures for 107 days during the Iran conflict, ultimately had to back down.

Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal said that the entire European Union has already moved beyond American pressure and dominance. There was a time when the American President’s influence was unmatched across the world, but today even the weakest nations are no longer willing to tolerate American hegemony.

Sant Seechewal said that the world is changing rapidly. A powerful nation like the United States should have played a leading role in addressing global challenges. It should have helped poorer nations, especially those in Africa, by supporting access to clean drinking water and improved healthcare facilities.

Instead, he alleged that America initiated conflict with Iran to expand its arms trade, a move that ultimately failed. Similarly, the United States justified the Iraq War by claiming that Iraq possessed chemical weapons, yet no such weapons were found even after the country was devastated by bombing campaigns.

He further stated that in Afghanistan, the United States remained for two decades under the pretext of searching for Osama bin Laden while keeping an eye on the country’s natural resources, but it did not achieve its objectives. He also accused the United States of contributing to the destruction of Syria. According to him, America sought to create conflicts in the Middle East in order to establish control over the region’s oil resources.

Sant Seechewal appealed to the leaders of Middle Eastern countries to free themselves from American influence, strengthen mutual cooperation, and unite in a manner similar to the European Union for the benefit of their economies and citizens.

He noted that from 1957 to 1976 a bus service operated between Kolkata and London. The 32,000-kilometre journey took approximately 50 days, with accommodation arrangements provided across various countries along the route. The service was eventually discontinued due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan. He added that the historic Silk Route passed through Asian countries and served as the backbone of the region’s economy.

Sant Seechewal urged Middle Eastern nations to set aside their differences, strengthen brotherly relations, and move forward together without fear of the United States.
