Mom-to-be Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared dreamy glimpses from her traditional baby shower, giving fans a peek into the intimate celebrations.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to post photographs from the ceremony, dressed in a yellow traditional outfit. She kept her look elegant with open hair, minimal makeup and silver jewellery, including a choker, matching earrings and bangles.
Alongside the photographs, Samantha spoke about her deep respect for Indian traditions and rituals. She said that while she may not understand the meaning behind every ritual, she believes in the deeper significance of practices passed down through generations.
“I have always had a deep respect for our traditions. I may not understand the meaning behind every ritual, but I have always believed that there is something deeper at work… in the sound of a mantra, the energy created through chanting, and the careful way the ancient practices have been passed down through generations,” she wrote.
Samantha’s post received warm reactions from friends and colleagues. Upasana Kamineni Konidela, wife of actor Ram Charan, commented, “So lovely”, while actress Nazriya Nazim responded with a red heart emoji.
Her filmmaker husband Raj Nidimoru was also seen participating in the celebrations alongside family members.
Samantha recently confirmed her pregnancy during the success meet of her latest release, Maa Inti Bangaaram. She also announced that she would take a maternity break following the film.
“After Maa Inti Bangaaram, I will have to take a small break, given my condition. I’ll have to take maternity leave. After that, I’ll be back with another film for my fans,” she had said.
Since then, the actress has been sharing glimpses of her pregnancy journey with her followers.
Samantha married Raj Nidimoru, one half of the filmmaker duo Raj & DK, in December 2025. The two are believed to have first met while working on The Family Man 2.
