Aman Arora and Tarunpreet Sond grace valedictory ceremony of 66th PU Inter-Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival

Cabinet Ministers Aman Arora and Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Tuesday attended the valedictory ceremony of the 66th Punjab University Inter-Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival held at AS College, Khanna.

In his address, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora highlighted the vital role of such festivals in fostering leadership qualities among the youth and showcasing their hidden talents. He added that youths are responsible for taking the country forward on the path of development and ensure the overall welfare of the society.

Such festivals prepare the younger generation to shoulder the responsibility effectively. He emphasized that Punjabi youth have made enormous contributions to the socio-economic development not only in Punjab and India but also globally.

Arora stated that the abundant energy of the youth needs to be harnessed for the betterment of the society. He informed that youth festivals play a pivotal role in grooming youth for various activities in the arena of music, dance, theatre and others at national and international arena. He also announced Rs 5 lakh for the college management.

Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Sond stated that art and culture play a significant role in the overall development of one’s personality and thus Youth festivals offer a healthy platform to the youngsters in exhibiting their rare talent. He also lauded AS College management for providing educational opportunities to the youth of Khanna for last 117 years.

Punjab Genco Chairman Navjot Singh Jarg, Principal KK Sharma and others were present.

The Ministers also released a Punjabi song by Mander Brothers during the function.
