Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of foodtech giant Zomato, is one of an exclusive group of 23 individuals in Gurugram whose net worth exceeds Rs 1,000 crore. With an impressive fortune of Rs 9,300 crore, Goyal stands as one of the city’s wealthiest residents. However, he is not the richest.

Nirmal Kumar Minda Tops Gurugram’s Rich List with Rs 30,800 Crore

According to the Hurun India Rich List 2024, the title of Gurugram’s richest resident goes to Nirmal Kumar Minda and his family. Minda, the chairman and managing director of UNO Minda, boasts a staggering net worth of Rs 30,800 crore (approximately $3.6 billion). This not only crowns him as Gurugram’s wealthiest individual but also secures his position as the 91st richest person in India.

Mamaearth Co-Founders Among Gurugram’s Elite Wealthy

Following Goyal in the ranks of Gurugram’s most affluent are Ghazal and Varun Alagh, the co-founders of Mamaearth, with a net worth of Rs 5,900 crore. IndiGo’s Jyoti Bhatia ranks next with Rs 4,500 crore, while Ravinder Kumar of Gawar Construction takes the fifth spot with a net worth of Rs 4,300 crore.

In sixth place is Gaurav Bhatnagar of TBO TEK, with a net worth of Rs 3,800 crore. He is closely followed by Lalit Agarwal and his family, associated with V-Mart Retail, and Iskander A Lalljee of Sud Chemie India, both with a fortune of Rs 3,300 crore.

Next on the list is Daljit Singh of Amber Enterprises, who has a net worth of Rs 2,900 crore. Rakesh Malhotra and his family from Luminous Power Technologies follow with Rs 2,800 crore. Dharminder Nagar of Paras Healthcare and Mobikwik co-founders Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku each have a net worth of Rs 2,400 crore.

Urban Company’s Abhiraj Singh Bhal Among Top Wealth Holders

Urban Company co-founder Abhiraj Singh Bhal holds a net worth of Rs 2,200 crore, while Naresh Kumar and his family of NKC Projects follow with Rs 2,100 crore. Rounding out the list are Vijay Kumar Thadani and his family from NIIT, and Sumant Sinha from ReNew Power, both with a net worth of Rs 1,600 crore.
