Misl Satluj will organise a discussion on the political vision and social ideology of Sahib Shri Kanshi Ram on October 27 in Chandigarh to mark his Parinirvan Diwas, party president Ajaypal Singh Brar announced on Sunday.
The programme will begin at 11 a.m. at Kendri Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Sector 28, Chandigarh. According to Brar, the discussion aims to draw lessons from Kanshi Ram’s political foresight, social thought and approach to empowering disadvantaged communities.
The central theme will be “Become Rulers”, reflecting Kanshi Ram’s emphasis on political awareness and participation among underprivileged sections of society. His ideology stressed that marginalised communities should understand their rights, build political strength and work towards equality and self-respect.
Brar said the discussion would examine the relevance of Kanshi Ram’s ideas in the context of present-day social and political challenges. Deliberations will focus on Punjab’s future, people’s rights and social justice, drawing on his vision of social and political empowerment.
He said Kanshi Ram’s life and struggle conveyed the message that meaningful social transformation required more than awareness, calling for organised strength, ideological clarity and political consciousness.
Brar added that Misl Satluj intended to use the initiative to encourage public reflection on these principles and promote participation in efforts aimed at advancing society’s broader interests and welfare.
