The much-anticipated annual Cultural–Literary-Technical Festival, TARANNUM-2025, also known as Jashan-E-Tirang, wrapped up in grand style at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda.
The festival’s finale showcased an electrifying blend of talent, creativity, and cultural diversity.
The concluding ceremony, held on Tuesday was inaugurated by MRSPTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal, while Bathinda Deputy Commissioner, Shri Shaukat Ahmed Parray, graced the occasion as the chief guest on concluding function .
In his address, Prof. Kansal emphasized the role of co-curricular and sports activities in fostering a well-rounded personality and contributing to academic success. He congratulated the participants, winners, and organizers while highlighting the university’s notable achievements.
Deputy Commissioner Parray echoed these sentiments, urging students to strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to society. He underscored the importance of teamwork and perseverance in achieving success.
The festival featured a dynamic lineup of events, including technical contests, creative challenges, and vibrant cultural performances. The audience was captivated by songs, dances, skits, rap battles, band performances, and the traditional Gidha and Bhangra, which brought the stage to life.
Adding to the excitement, renowned Punjabi singer Amar Sandhu delivered a high-energy performance that left the crowd mesmerized.
The event was attended by Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Campus Director Dr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, Senior faculty members, deans, directors, and dedicated staff who played a pivotal role in making the festival a resounding success.
The success of TARANNUM-2025 was made possible through the relentless efforts of Programme Chief Coordinator, Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Paramjit Singh and Cultural Cordinator, Dr.Gagandeep Kaur, along with enthusiastic student coordinators. The stage proceedings were seamlessly managed by Assistant Professor Dr. Sunita Kotwal.
The festival concluded on a high note with winners being honored by the dignitaries, celebrating their hard work and dedication in a truly memorable fashion.
