Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Lalchand Kataruchakk said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party government has ensured that every grain of paddy brought by farmers to mandis has been procured smoothly and at full MSP, reaffirming AAP’s commitment to the welfare and dignity of the farming community.
He said that while previous governments made farmers wait for payments, the Mann Government has ensured that money is directly credited into farmers’ accounts without delay. “Today, farmers are receiving timely payments, smooth procurement, and full government support, this is the result of honest governance and transparent systems that AAP has introduced in Punjab,” he said.
Kataruchakk added, “From cleaning the mandis to ensuring uninterrupted lifting, we have worked round the clock to make the procurement farmer-friendly.”
Appealing to the voters of Tarn Taran, the Minister said, “Tomorrow’s vote is not just about an election, it is about choosing a government that has proven its dedication to the farmer, the labourer, and the common citizen. Vote for the party that respects your sweat, stands for Punjab’s farmers, and works for the future of our children.”
