Actress and reality television personality Archana Gautam has reported a theft at her Mumbai cafe, saying she was shocked to see the premises allegedly broken into and the entire cash counter taken away.
Archana shared CCTV footage of the incident on social media, showing an unidentified person entering the cafe in the early hours and allegedly removing the cash counter. She said she has registered an FIR and urged the Mumbai Police to take swift action.
“I am sharing this CCTV footage of a theft at my cafe in Mumbai with all of you so that you too stay alert and take care of the security of your homes and businesses,” Archana wrote while sharing the footage.
The actress said the cafe was built with considerable personal effort and investment, making the incident particularly distressing.
“I built this cafe with a lot of love and hard work, investing my savings into it. I personally put a lot of effort into bringing every little thing together. But a thief broke into my cafe and stole the entire cash counter,” she said.
Archana also urged people to remain vigilant about the security of their homes and businesses.
She said Mumbai had always felt like a safe city to her and expressed disappointment over the incident. “I just want to request everyone to stay alert, stay safe and pay attention to the security around you,” she said.
The cafe, which opened in Mumbai in October 2025, serves churros and other desserts, along with waffles, pancakes, coffee, milkshakes and savoury items. Archana had also showcased her interest in cooking during her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef India.
Archana rose to wider popularity with her participation in Bigg Boss 16. She subsequently appeared in reality shows including Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Celebrity MasterChef India. She has also worked as an actress and model and has participated in beauty pageants.
