2012-batch PCS officer Anuprita Johal on Tuesday assumed charge as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Patiala, in compliance with the transfer and posting orders issued by the Punjab Government.
After taking charge, Anuprita Johal said that providing transparent and time-bound administrative services to the people would be her top priority. She stated that under the leadership of Patiala Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal and in line with the priorities of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the district administration would work towards ensuring efficient public service delivery.
She further said that special emphasis would be laid on resolving public grievances on priority and ensuring that the benefits of various welfare schemes launched by the Punjab Government reach people at the grassroots level.
Anuprita Johal has earlier served as ADC in Mansa, Barnala, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib districts. She has also served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) at Samrala and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
Officials and staff members of the ADC office welcomed her on assuming charge at Patiala.
