Nawanshahr, June 14, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has entrusted senior youth leader Robby Kang with a key organizational responsibility by appointing him as the Halka In-Charge of the Nawanshahr Assembly constituency.
The appointment was announced through an official communication jointly signed by AAP Punjab State In-Charge Manish Sisodia and the party’s Punjab President Aman Arora.
At 33, Robby Kang is regarded as one of the prominent young faces in the party’s organizational structure. He currently serves as the State Vice President of the Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing, Punjab, and is also a Director of Punjab INFOTECH.
The latest appointment comes close on the heels of another important responsibility assigned to him earlier this month. On June 2, 2026, Kang was appointed as the District In-Charge of Nawanshahr, reflecting the party leadership’s growing confidence in his organizational abilities and grassroots connect.
Political observers view the move as part of AAP Punjab’s continuing efforts to strengthen its cadre and organizational network at the constituency level ahead of future political challenges. By placing a young and active leader at the helm of the Nawanshahr Assembly segment, the party appears keen to consolidate its presence and further energize its local organizational structure.
Kang’s elevation is expected to bolster the party’s outreach efforts in the constituency and enhance coordination between district and constituency-level units.
