‘Uttaran’ fame Tinaa Dattaa opens up about a devastating personal loss: ‘The void is unbearable’

Mumbai, June 14, 2026
Television actress Tinaa Dattaa, on Sunday, took to social media to mourn the heartbreaking loss of her beloved pet.

Sharing an emotional note, the ‘Uttaran’ actress opened up about the immense grief and emptiness she has been experiencing in the days following the loss. Expressing her pain, Tinaa wrote, “It’s been 4 days without my child, and everything feels so strange. On the 10th, a part of me died too—only one of us stopped breathing. How unfair.. The void is unbearable. Nothing feels the same anymore. Home doesn’t feel like home.

The silence is deafening. No more barking, no more calling out for me, no more constant demands for attention—the very things that once filled my days and sometimes exhausted me are now the things I miss the most.”

“Just a day before, on the afternoon of the 9th, we were happily taking pictures together. Who would have thought those would be the last photos we’d ever take? If only I had known, I would have held you a little longer, kissed you a little more, and never let go.

No matter how much pain you were in, you always carried that big, beautiful smile on your face. And in your final days, your favourite place in the world was in my arms. The moment I hugged you or held you close, you seemed to forget all your pain and instantly drift off to sleep. As if my arms were your safest place.”

She added, “Oh, my boy… what I wouldn’t give to hold you one more time, to feel your warmth, to hear you call for me again. Life feels so unfair right now. I miss you in every corner of this house, in every routine, in every moment of my day.

I hope wherever you are, you’re free from pain, running happy, smiling that same beautiful smile. And I hope you know that you were, and always will be, the greatest love of my life. I wish I was with you.”

Tinaa Dattaa’s pet dog died on June 10. She took to social media to share an emotional tribute. Remembering her beloved pet Bruno, she described him as her “first child” and “sunshine boy,” reflecting on the 12.5 beautiful years they spent together.(Agency)
