Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, has expressed profound grief over the sudden and untimely demise of Justice Mahabir Singh Sindhu, a sitting Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Speaker Sandhwan described Justice Sindhu as a distinguished legal luminary and a compassionate jurist who possessed deep judicial acumen. The Speaker stressed that Justice Sindhu’s landmark judgments and his unwavering commitment to protecting constitutional rights and upholding human dignity will leave an indelible mark on the region’s legal framework.
His untimely departure has left a massive, unfillable void in the Indian judiciary and the legal fraternity of Punjab and Haryana High Court, said the Speaker.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, colleagues, and the legal fraternity, the Speaker prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
