The appointment of Ms. Anuradha as the District President, Jalandhar (Urban), Punjab Pradesh Mahila Congress has been warmly welcomed by Congress workers across the district. The appointment was approved by the Hon’ble President of the All India Mahila Congress, Smt. Alka Lamba, through an official office order issued on 6 July 2026.
Following the announcement, Congress leaders and workers gathered at the office of MLA Pargat Singh to congratulate Anuradha Ji and extend their best wishes for her new responsibility.
Among those present were Angad Dutta, District President, Youth Congress Jalandhar, Dharminder Singh Bhinda, Senior Congress Leader, Bhupinder Singh Bhinda, General Secretary, District Congress Committee, Manvir Singh, PA to MLA Pargat Singh, Sonia Ahir, Sarabjit Kaur Dadra, Annie Banga, Simran Chahal, Sunita Rani, and Sejal Chahal, along with several Congress workers.
Angad Dutta said:

I am confident that under her leadership, the Mahila Congress will become stronger and more active. Anuradha Ji expressed her gratitude, saying:
