Sunawardeep Singh, an alumnus of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has brought laurels to his alma-mater by securing the 76th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam 2025.
Having passed-out M.Tech from this agri-varsity and a winner of inter-varsity PAU quiz team, Sunawardeep Singh is a son of Dr Kuldeep Singh, PAU’s Director of Regional Research Station, Faridkot, and Mrs Gagandeep Kaur, Associate Professor at Brijindra College, Faridkot.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Manjeet Singh, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology; Dr Nirmal Jaura, DSW; senior officials and faculty of PAU, have extended their heartiest felicitations to Sunawardeep Singh, who has burnt midnight oil to qualify this exam. “PAU has produced many civil servants, who are serving in Punjab and other Indian states. It is moment of great honour for this agri-varsity to see its students scaling great heights in their domains,” said Dr Gosal.
