Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon names Jasdeep Singh Gill as new head of Radha Soami Dera Beas

Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, head of Radha Swami Satsang Beas and patron of the Dera, today announced the heir to his throne and appointed Mr. Jasdeep Singh Gill as the new patron and head of the Dera.

According to the order issued by Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, the change comes into effect immediately and Jasdeep Singh Gill will take over the role of patron and Satguru Sant of the sect from today itself.
He will be the 7th Head of Dera Radha Soami Beas.

It has been learned that Jasdeep Singh Gill is a relative of Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon and is already associated with the Dera. Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon ascended the throne in 1990 and was the nephew of the 5th Dera Chief.

In a message issued to the ‘sevadars’ of the Dera, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon has said that Mr. Jasdeep Singh Gill will be his successor and as the head of the Dera he will also have the right to give Naam Diksha.

Jasdeep Singh Gill is the son of Dr. Sukhdev Singh Gill. Born on 15 March 1979 he is 43 now. An alumnus of ITI Delhi he did his B.Tech and then M.Tech. He is a Phd from University of Cambridge. He has taken ‘Naam’ from the Dera. Sources said, he has worked with Cipla and Ranbaxy, a controversial company owner brothers of which had been in news for financial irregularities and their relation with Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon.

It is understood that this decision has been taken by Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon in view of his health. He was diagnosed with cancer.
