Envisioned as a smart integrated industrial township, the Zaheerabad Industrial Area will feature advanced and sustainable infrastructure and support next-generation industries.
Special focus is on logistics, auto components, electrical & electronics, machinery equipment, metals & food processing sectors.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the PM MITRA Park at Warangal, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, developed under the PM MITRA Scheme. Developed at an estimated cost of around Rs 1,700 crore, it is India’s first fully functional PM MITRA Park and operationalises the Centre’s 5F vision – ‘Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign’.
The mega textile park is expected to play a pivotal role in promoting textile manufacturing in Telangana and positioning India as a global leader in the textile market.
According to officials, once fully operational, the park will generate over 24,400 jobs. It has already provided employment to 2,000 people.
Strategically located near the proposed Nagpur-Vijayawada Greenfield Expressway (NH-163G) and in proximity to NH-163, the park offers excellent multimodal connectivity to major railway networks and seaports, ensuring seamless logistics for global trade.
