MRSPTU Organizes Business Plan Competition ‘Samadhan 2025’

The University Business School (UBS) of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) successfully organized the ‘Samadhan 2025’ Business Plan Competition, designed to foster innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The event drew enthusiastic participation, with 75 entries received from institutions across India. After an initial shortlisting process, 30 promising business ideas advanced to the final presentation round.

Following rigorous evaluation by expert judges, Agrivimaan from the University of Jammu secured the First Prize for their outstanding business concept. Pine Kindle from NEHU Shillong won the Second Position, while Symbiosis University Pune and Christ University Bengaluru jointly claimed the Third Prize, showcasing impressive entrepreneurial potential.

Samadhan 2025 emerged as an inspiring platform, effectively nurturing entrepreneurial talent and practical business acumen among students.

A distinguished panel comprising Dr. Lokesh Jindal (Jawaharlal Nehru University), Dr. Anuradha Jain (Director, Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi), and Mr. Vikas Garg (MD, Bafflesol Technologies) assessed the finalists and provided insightful, constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.

The competition was inaugurated by Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MRSPTU, who applauded the innovative ideas presented and announced financial and technical support for deserving teams. The Registrar, Dr. Gurinderpal Singh Brar, commended the initiative and urged continued efforts to promote experiential learning.

Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Baldi, Director (IQAC), extended a warm welcome and highlighted the growing importance of entrepreneurship in contemporary education.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Pritpal Singh Bhullar, HOD (UBS), acknowledging the dedicated efforts of the organizing team, including Mr. Gurdas Singh and Ms. Manju Rani, along with faculty members.
