Newly appointed Punjab BJP State President Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon began his outreach programme by paying a visit to Dera Beas, where he sought the blessings of Baba Gurinder Singh.
As part of his statewide engagement with senior party leadership, Dhillon met several former BJP state presidents and veteran leaders at their respective residences across Punjab.
In Jalandhar, he called on former Punjab BJP State President and former Cabinet Minister Manoranjan Kalia. He also met former Punjab BJP State President and former Union Minister Vijay Sampla, as well as former Punjab BJP State President and former National Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna at their residences in Hoshiarpur.
As part of the exercise, Dhillon contacted former Punjab BJP State President Ashwani Sharma to schedule a visit to his residence in Pathankot. However, Sharma conveyed that he would instead visit Dhillon at his residence in Chandigarh on Monday.
The outreach initiative reflects Dhillon’s commitment to seeking the guidance, blessings and support of senior party leaders as he assumes charge of the Punjab BJP and works towards strengthening the organisation across the state.
