Amritsar Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla held a special meeting with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at Indira Bhawan, the headquarters of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in New Delhi. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the current political situation in Punjab and the country, along with several important issues concerning the people.
The meeting also focused on strengthening the Congress Party at the grassroots level, effectively raising public concerns, and further empowering the party organization. MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla apprised the Congress President of various issues related to Punjab and the expectations of the people.
On the occasion, Aujla stated that the country is currently facing several serious challenges. At such a time, raising the voice of the people, safeguarding the Constitution and democracy, and steering the nation towards progress, unity, and communal harmony is a collective responsibility.
He further said that under the leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress Party has been consistently fighting for the rights of people from all sections of society and will continue to do so with the same commitment in the future.
