Chandigarh, May 9, 2026 (Yes Punjab News):
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday carried out searches at premises linked to Punjab Minister Sanjeev Arora in Chandigarh, Delhi and Gurugram, including his official residence in Chandigarh’s Sector 2.
According to reports, ED officials reached the minister’s official residence at House No. 43 in Sector 2 during the morning hours and conducted the proceedings in his presence. Sources indicated that simultaneous searches were also carried out at other locations connected with the minister.
This is the second round of ED action involving Arora’s premises within a span of around three weeks. Earlier, the agency had conducted raids at locations linked to him in Ludhiana. Reports suggest this is the third such ED action connected to the minister within the past year.
The latest searches come a day after the ED reportedly concluded raids at certain builder-linked premises in Kharar. Those searches were stated to be linked to individuals allegedly associated with influential persons in the state.
No official statement had been issued by the ED or the minister regarding the ongoing searches at the time of filing this report.
