Following GLADA’s aggressive approach to demolish illegal construction under the jurisdiction of GLADA, today on dated 25.07.2024, GLADA team headed by Sh. Suraj Manchanda, SDE (Building) & Sh. Divleen Singh, SDE (Building) under the directions of Chief Administrator, GLADA Sh. Sandeep Rishi, Additional Chief Administrator Sh. Ojasvi Alankar & Estate Officer Sh. Ankur Mohindru, demolished the illegal construction raised on an Open Space Area reserved for disposal works in colony Rajguru Nagar Ext.1, Threeke, Ludhiana.
The above said land had to be transferred to GLADA as per PAPRA Act.
Despite of serving several notices to coloniser for transfer of above land and to demolish illegal construction on this land, Coloniser failed to do so thus violated the Building By-Laws.
Therefore, GLADA team along with Police team demolished the illegal construction.
In order to avoid any damage to contiguous houses, front part of the building has been demolished and residents have been asked to inform in case of any type of illegal construction at the said land.
