Punjab Government has ordered the transfers and postings of 177 Naib Tehsildars/Sub-Registrars with immediate effect.
Though the transfers have been ordered on ‘Administrative Grounds’, it is presumed that the government has acted tough against the Naib Tehsildars/Sub-Registrars in view of their protest in the shape of mass leave from Monday till Friday and their refusal to entertain work of Registrations.
