Punjab based Lawyer & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu recently presented his created pictorial art work on National Bird of India symbolizing “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Mr. Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Attorney General of India R. Venkataramani and Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta in New Delhi with aim to promote the importance of National Bird Peacock through his crafted portrait showcasing Peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers,
embodying the rich cultural heritage and biodiversity of India, prepared to glorify the natural beauty of Peacock and emphasize the need for human’s indispensable bond with nature as peacock holds deep symbolic meaning and is considered a symbol of grace, beauty, and elegance it can be often seen in Indian art, mythology, and folklore, representing virtues like integrity and dignity.
Attorney General of India R. Venkataramani much acknowledged the art work on National Bird of India crafted by Advocate Harpreet Sandhu and described it as an constructive step towards promoting awareness and implementing measures to protect the natural habitats of Peacock, which will certainly ensure that we will continue to marvel at the majestic beauty of the national bird in its natural splendor.
The pictorial art work initiated by Harpreet Sandhu has been instrumental towards highlighting importance of conservation of the National Bird Peacock within different States of the Nation aiming to promote cultural exchange between different States.
