The Golden Jubilee Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Guru Nanak Dev University organized a hands-on workshop titled “ChatGPT for the Modern Entrepreneur: Transform Your Business with ChatGPT” in collaboration with FICCI FLO Amritsar under the leadership of Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor.
The aim of this workshop was to foster the growth of the startup ecosystem by integrating AI-driven technologies into business strategies.
Ms. Subhi Agarwal, Co-founder and COO of Locobuzz Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, led the workshop, showcasing the practical applications of ChatGPT in areas such as customer service automation, workflow optimization, and business scaling.
She also highlighted AI’s transformative potential in fields like finance and bookkeeping, where automation streamlines processes, enhances accuracy, and saves valuable time. Additionally, AI tools like ChatGPT were demonstrated in customer relationship management (CRM), allowing businesses to deliver personalized and efficient services to clients.
Ms. Agarwal discussed the power of AI-driven marketing, including automated email and WhatsApp marketing campaigns, as well as social media management, which helps businesses increase reach and engagement while optimizing content strategies.
Dr. Simarpreet Kaur, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Amritsar, emphasized the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in today’s entrepreneurial landscape. She encouraged participants to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to simplify work, increase productivity, and enhance business competitiveness.
AI-driven applications, she noted, enable startups to manage day-to-day tasks more efficiently, automate repetitive processes, and improve overall decision-making through data-driven insights.
Over 40 startups incubated at GJCEI, along with students and faculty members attended this informative workshop to learn how to grow their businesses using ChatGPT’s tools. The Amritsar Founders team, led by Mr. Amit Madaan and Mr. Vikrant Kapoor, were also present. Students and startups actively participated in the session, exploring AI-driven solutions for their ventures, making the session an enriching experience for all.
Dr. Pratap Kumar Pati, Coordinator of GJCEI, stressed the center’s role in encouraging innovation in the state of Punjab.
He emphasized the importance of practical workshops in helping young entrepreneurs learn how to use the latest AI tools to improve their business skills.
Dr. Pati also shared that under the visionary leadership and guidance of Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of GNDU Amritsar, this university incubation center is providing a common platform where likeminded organizations like FICCI FLO and Amritsar Founders will work in coordination for the welfare of this region and for promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth of Punjab.
He emphasized that this collaboration is aimed at fostering growth and creating opportunities for young minds to drive meaningful change in their communities. Dr. Pati expressed his gratitude to Ms. Agarwal, Ms. Simarpreet, and all the participants for making this workshop valuable for the region’s growing entrepreneurs.
