Punjabi model and actress Himanshi Khurana has approached the Punjab Police after allegedly receiving a threatening email containing a voice note in which the sender reportedly demanded money and issued threats.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the email was received from an international source and included an audio message. The sender allegedly identified himself as being linked to a gangster group and demanded a large sum of money. The voice message reportedly contained threats of serious harm if the demand was not fulfilled.
Complaint Filed, Police Begin Investigation
Himanshi Khurana, who is based in Mohali, has formally brought the matter to the attention of the Punjab Police. Authorities have initiated an investigation and are examining the email, voice recording, and related digital evidence to determine the authenticity and origin of the threat.
Officials said the probe is at a preliminary stage, and technical analysis is being carried out to trace the source of the communication. Police have not officially confirmed the identity of the sender and said further action will be taken based on verified findings.

Security agencies are treating the complaint seriously, given the growing number of threat messages received by public figures in recent times. Law enforcement authorities routinely examine such complaints and implement necessary security and preventive measures where required.
Himanshi Khurana is a well-known face in the Punjabi entertainment industry and gained nationwide recognition after her participation in the reality television show Bigg Boss Season 13. She has also appeared in several music videos and film projects.
Police officials said the investigation is ongoing, and appropriate legal action will follow once the facts are established.
