Punjab Speaker Sandhwan releases Hardeep Kaur’s maiden Book ‘Shamshan Ghat Sau Gaya’

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan has said that the power of women is not in their personality but in every area of our country and the world. Management of women is very important in running the society. The contribution of women to society should not be underestimated.

The above views were expressed by Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan while addressing the writers and intellectuals from different parts of Punjab and Chandigarh during the program organized on the occasion of the release of writer Hardeep Kaur’s first book ‘Shamshan Ghat Soung Gaya’.

He said that the power of the pen can be estimated only by the writer or the reader. The tip of the pen is sharper than the weapon. Describing Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji as a great writer, the Vidhan Sabha Speaker said that he influenced the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb not with weapons but with the pen. Guru Sahib’s Zafarnama written by his own pen became a universal document.

Encouraging writer Hardeep Kaur, he said that the inclination towards reading and writing books is decreasing among the young generation. This is a matter of serious concern. He said that young writers should take new guidance from Hardeep Kaur and move forward on how a woman can balance her home, family and workplace.

On this occasion, he appreciated the work being done by Disha Trust for the welfare of women and said that Hardeep Kaur as a woman understands the problems of women well and is also making meaningful efforts to solve them through her forum.

Raj Lali Gill, chairperson of the Punjab State Commission for Women, who was present as a special guest in the program, said that women have to come forward to create their own identity by becoming aware of their rights.

Women have to give up the hearth thinking and fight not only for themselves but also for the rights of women around them. Narrator and analyst Jasveer Rana, who was present as the main speaker in the program, presented all the aspects of the book to the people and said that Hardeep Kaur has exposed the behind-the-scenes crimes against women in the society.

Senior writer and writer Deepak Chanarthal thanked the guests who came to the program and said that writer Hardeep Kaur has tried to show that women are not only at their workplace by focusing on the events happening in daily life in this book. , but are not safe even in homes.

Senior journalist and writer Jagtar Bhullar said that writing is an art.
