The politically committed organization Misl Satluj, dedicated to safeguarding Punjab’s economic, social, and cultural rights, has intensified its preparations for the upcoming Punjab legislative assembly elections.
President of Misl Satluj, S.Ajaypal Singh Brar, made a significant announcement today, stating that Bibi Jasmeet Kaur Chhina, President of the organization’s women’s wing of Misl Satluj (and the wife of Sikh struggle martyr Bhai Satnam Singh Chhina will be fielded as the party’s candidate from the Sanaur assembly constituency.
S.Brar recalled that Misl Satluj had earlier declared its decision to contest the forthcoming Assembly elections with its own candidates. With this announcement, the organization has formally begun unveiling its lineup of candidates. He emphasized that the misl satluj will give special priority to youth and women leadership, aiming to infuse Punjab’s politics with fresh vision, renewed dynamism, and progressive energy.
He further stated that Misl Satluj, steadfastly advancing with Punjab’s core interests at its heart, is rapidly emerging as a strong and credible alternative political force in the state. The organization’s primary objective is to effectively protect Punjab’s economic, social, and cultural rights and guide the state back onto the path of development, prosperity, and self-respect.
He expressed confidence that with the immense support of the people, Misl Satluj will play a strong and decisive role in shaping the future political landscape of Punjab in the coming year.
