The process of tampering with the statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and insulting it in an indecent manner is continuing under the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The morale of people with such a heinous criminal mentality is high. Bhagwan Maan government seems helpless and powerless.
Condemning the insult of Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar’s statue in village Nagla of Phillaur town of Jalandhar district, Paramjit Singh Kainth, Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Caste Morcha, has strongly condemned this incident.
He has said that this year so far, Babasaheb Ambedkar’s statue has been broken and insulted more than 4 times. The people who do such incidents are emboldened and the series is continuing.
The government is proving unsuccessful in maintaining law and order. There is anger and resentment in the Dalit society due to such incidents. Sardar Kainth said that the insult of Babasaheb Ambedkar will not be tolerated at any cost and we will not back down from fighting.
Dalit leader Paramjit Singh Kainth said that to prevent such incidents, a delegation will meet the Governor of Punjab and after giving information about the whole situation, I will demand protection of the statues and express my anger against the Bhagwant Mann government because the government has completely failed to maintain law and order in Punjab.
