Chandigarh, June 30, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)
All Sewa Kendras across Punjab will resume their regular working hours from July 1, 2026, following the restoration of normal office timings by the Punjab Government.
A Punjab Government spokesperson said that the Sewa Kendras, which were operating on revised timings due to the recent heatwave, will now function from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. across the state.
The spokesperson said that the working hours had been temporarily changed to 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to safeguard staff and visitors during the prevailing heatwave conditions. With normal office timings now reinstated, the Sewa Kendras will also revert to their usual schedule.
The revised timings will come into effect from July 1, 2026, and will remain in force until further orders.
The spokesperson further said that all Sewa Kendras have been directed to strictly adhere to the new timings and ensure that citizens are adequately informed through notice boards and other communication channels so that they do not face any inconvenience.
