Akali Dal holds candle march in solidarity with victims of Pahalgam terror attack, demands justice for victims

Chandigarh, April 27, 2025 (Yes Punjab News)

Shiromani Akali Dal today hold candle march in solidarity with victims of Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir and demanded justice for the victims. Mr. Charanjit Singh Villy President of Chandigarh unit of the party, led the candle march.

Before initiation of candle march a two minute silence was observed for peace of departed souls of the attack in Shiromani Akali Dal head office sector 28 Chandigarh. Later protestors headed for transport chowk from the party office demanding strict action against the guilty terrorists.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Charanjit Singh Villy said that everyone in the country was pained to see innocent tourists murdered cold bloodedly by these terrorists. He said that every Indian wants to avenge this terror act and fully supporting the government in this matter.

He said that whole World has supported India in this matter and everybody is condemning this inhuman act of terrorism. He said that this act can’t be justified in any manner.

He said that Pakistan is responsible for this act which has trained and sent these terrorist to India for this attack. He said that like every time Pakistan is denying its hand in this attack but today everyone in the world knows that it is Pakistan which has adopted terrorism as its state policy.

He said that every Indian is hopeful that Indian government will give a befitting reply to these terrorists and their handlers. He said that Akali Dal has always supported the country and everyone in the country knows that Punjabis have contributed the most in the freedom struggle in the country and today also Punjabi soldiers are in the fore front to defend the borders of the country.

He again urged Indian government to take a strong decision in the matter and teach these perpetrators of the crime against humanity a life time lesson.EOM
