SC has exposed anti-national credentials of Rahul Gandhi: Tarun Chugh

Chandigarh, August 4, 2025 (Yes Punjab News)

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the Supreme Court’s observation in the defamation case against Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has exposed the anti-national mindset of the Gandhi family.

The Supreme Court’s reprimand to Rahul Gandhi—saying that only an anti-national could have made such remarks—is a telling statement, and Rahul Gandhi must apologise to the nation.

Chugh said that although the apex court has absolved him of the defamation proceedings, the observations made are far too alarming for the nation to ignore.

With the Supreme Court putting a pronounced stamp on the anti-national utterances of Rahul Gandhi, this should serve as a serious wake-up call for the country.

Chugh added that there is no doubt Rahul Gandhi has been building bridges with China and Pakistan in an attempt to disrupt the positive momentum of the Modi government.

The entire nation remembers how, during the Pulwama crisis, Rahul Gandhi and his family had a cosy breakfast with the Chinese ambassador in Delhi.

It is widely known across the country that Rahul Gandhi has often echoed Pakistan’s narrative. Chugh said it is high time the so-called Gandhi family stops pushing anti-national agendas for cheap political gains—especially when it plays directly into the hands of foreign powers.

Chugh also reminded the nation that the Congress party had signed a secret Memorandum of Understanding with the Communist Party of China in 2008—a fact the party has consistently dodged public questions about. When the Congress leadership refuses to explain its foreign deals and then echoes enemy propaganda, it raises serious doubts about their loyalties.

He further said that this is not the first time Rahul Gandhi has attacked India’s integrity. From questioning the bravery of Indian soldiers in Galwan to mocking the success of surgical strikes, Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly demoralised our armed forces. The Supreme Court’s remarks should be seen in this larger context of habitual irresponsibility.
