The project is produced by Manpreet Johal with Aashu Munish Sahni and Karamjit Singh Johal and written and directed by Sharan Art. “The Sikh community’s unwavering courage and sacrifices have been an inspiration for generations,” said the film’s director, Sharan Art. “Through ‘Mastaney,’ we aim to bring to light the indomitable spirit of the Sikhs. The film is inspired by true events when Sikhs became a shield for innocent lives against the atrocities of Nader Shah.
