To commemorate 403rd Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, pious documentary and booklet showcasing the historical shrines where Guru Tegh Bahadur left his footprints, during his life span was launched by the Gurdwara management in presence of devotees at the Historic Gurdwara Vivah Asthan, Kartarpur, where marriage of ninth Sikh Guru was solemnized with Mata Gujri ji in year 1634.
The pictorial documentary and booklet has been compiled by Harpreet Sandhu with aim to highlight pious shrines having relevance with Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib as sewa within the devotees enabling them to rededicate themselves towards the philosophy, teachings and spirit of service and sacrifice as adumbrated by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
The pictorial visuals feature the life journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur from his birth till martyrdom projecting the Gurdwaras i.e. Guru ka Mahal (Amritsar), Gurdwara Vayah Asthan (Kartarpur, District Jalandhar), Gurdwara Bhora Sahib (Baba Bakala), Gurdwara Thara Sahib (Amritsar), Gurdwara Guru Ke Mahal (Bhora Sahib,
Sri Anandpur Sahib), GurdwaraGuru Ke Bagh (Patna Sahib), Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib (Patiala), Gurdwara Thara Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Chandni Chowk, Delhi), GurdwaraRakab Ganj Sahib (Delhi),
Gurdwara Bibangarh Sahib (Ropar), Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurdwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib). These significant documentary has been been beautifully illustrated through aerial view highlighting life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and will definitely be a source of inspiration for the entire humanity.
Member SGPC Bhai Ranjit Singh Kahlon, while releasing the documentary and pictorial visuals highlighting Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s life journey, today at Vivah Asthan, Kartarpur, acknowledged the divine efforts of Harpreet Sandhu for compiling the meaningful documentary and an excellent booklet depicting the holy shrines where the ninth Guru Sahib left his footprints.
He further appreciated the hard work of Harpreet Sandhu for coming up with a unique documentary, highlighting the supreme sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Bhai Jaswinder Singh Manager Gurdwara Vivah Asthan, Kartarpur stated that the pious work initiated by Harpreet Sandhu in form of pictorial visuals and documentary highlighting life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib will be source of inspiration for people of Punjab.
He further congratulated Harpreet Sandhu for taking responsibility of initiating the pious work dedicated to 403rd Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib which will send great message within the society.
Majority of devotees gathered at the sacred shrine applauded the documentary film as well as the booklet showcasing divine visuals of Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and describes it as a noble cause within the community to mark the significance of 403rd birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
The author Harpreet Sandhu said that Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib occupies a special place in our hearts and we all need to value that he sacrificed his life to uphold the principles of religious freedom, social harmony and universal brotherhood.
