Mr Rahul Khanna, Junior Research Fellow, Department of Microbiology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Young Researcher Award” for his outstanding contribution to the field of Microbiology.
He received the award during the International Agriculture Conference on “Exploring Recent Innovations in Agriculture and Allied Sciences,” organized by Sardar Patel University, Balaghat in collaboration with ICAR- Research Complex for ER, Patna.
Mr Khanna did his M.Sc from the Department of Microbiology, PAU, under the guidance of Dr Richa Arora and is currently working in a DBT sponsored project, headed by Dr Keshani Bhushan.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice Chancellor, PAU; Dr Ajmer Singh Dhatt, Director of Research; Dr Kiran Bains, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; and Dr Urmila Gupta Phutela, Head, Department of Microbiology, congratulated the student for this achievement.
