Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement of Guru Nanak Dev University organized Campus Placement drive by Panacea Biotec company for M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Pharma. and B.Pharma. – Batch 2024 students of the University.
The company selected 10 students from these courses – 3 from M.Sc. Microbiology, 2 each from M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Pharma. and 1 from B.Pharma. These students will join their jobs after passing out their respective courses, said Dr. Amit Chopra, Director.
Panacea Biotec is a global generic and specialty pharmaceutical and vaccine maker. It has USFDA approved pharmaceutical manufacturing facility at Baddi and WHO pre-qualified facilities for vaccine production at Lalru (Punjab) and Baddi.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students and faculty members for selection of the students in Panacea Biotec. Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh and Registrar Dr. K.S. Kahlon also congratulated the students for this great success. Dr. Amit Chopra, Director said that students of GNDU are regularly getting job offers from multinational and national companies through campus placements.
Moreover, students from all the faculties like Engineering, Economics & Business, Physical Planning & Architecture, Sports Medicine & Physiotherapy, Sciences, Life Sciences and Physical Education are getting placed in these placement drives.
