LPU NCC cadet Navneet Singh represents India in UK for YEP 2024

Lovely Professional University (LPU) one of its exceptional NCC cadets, Navneet Singh, to represent India in the Youth Exchange Program (YEP) 2024, which was held in the United Kingdom.

This remarkable initiative, organised by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, aims to foster international understanding and camaraderie among the youth.

Under the theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future,” YEP 2024 invites youth organisations from 25 different countries to participate in this cultural exchange program. Navneet Singh, a B.Tech. CSE student at LPU, has been chosen from India to showcase our country’s rich heritage and rapid progress since independence.

Navneet Singh, hailing from a military background with his brother serving in the Air Force, embodies the values of discipline and patriotism.

Currently holding the prestigious position of Senior Under Officer (SUO) in the LPU NCC, Navneet has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills and leadership qualities.

Col. Rashmi Mittal, Pro Chancellor LPU, stated, “We are thrilled to have Navneet Singh represent India in the Youth Exchange Program 2024.

His selection is a testament to his dedication, discipline, and commitment to serving the nation. We are confident that Navneet will not only showcase India’s diverse heritage but also foster a sense of global unity among the participating youth.”

The YEP 2024 provides an incredible platform for cultural exchange and interaction among the youth from different nations.

During the program, Navneet Singh and his fellow participants will engage with Indian youth as well as their peers from other countries, enriching their global perspective and nurturing lifelong friendships.

Prior to his participation in the YEP, Navneet Singh, along with other LPU NCC cadets, showcased their exemplary skills and discipline during the Prime Minister’s Rally at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) organized by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) DG NCC in Delhi Cantonment. Their participation in this prestigious event further exemplified their commitment to serving the nation.
