Lovely Professional University has been conferred with the National Employability Award 2025 for the fifth consecutive year. This prestigious award, presented by SHL, recognizes LPU’s exceptional contribution in preparing the final-year students for grand career opportunities with the multinational companies across the globe of high repute.
The AMCAT test assesses candidates on various skills crucial for employment in several fields of engineering and management, evaluating students on areas such as communication, verbal ability, logical reasoning, quantitative skills, and domain-specific knowledge, aiding recruiters in identifying the most suitable candidates with relevant competencies.
AMCAT scores are accepted by various top MNCs including Bosch, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Accenture, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bank of America, Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group, to name a few.
Col. Rashmi Mittal, Pro Chancellor of LPU, expressed pride in the accomplishments of the students and attributed the University’s success to the dedication of its members of faculty and specialized trainers. The aim is to continue nurturing the LPU’s talent and help them secure rewarding placements with attractive packages.
As a testament to this the award, students of LPU have been writing success stories of record-breaking placements year-on-year. More than 1500 students of LPU have secured packages ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 64 lakh.
The average package of the top 10 percent of our placed students is Rs 12.3 lakh which is higher than the average of many top IITs. Yasir M, 2018 batch LPU student secured a package of Rs 3 crore in a top IT company in Germany. However, TC Central gave a package worth Rs. 1 crore to Pawan Kunchala of the 2022 batch.
Continuing the success saga, Yashasvi Yaduvanshi and Harsh Vardhan of B.Tech Computer Science, students of the 2023-24 batch, secured a handsome package of Rs 52.08 lakh at Microsoft. Following the league, 2 students from yet to graduate batch 2024-25, Joshita Pachar and Nazia Parveen bagged a package of Rs 51 lakh with Microsoft.
To add to, a student of Mechanical engineering, batch 2022–23, secured the highest CTC of Rs 54.9 lakh. MBA and architecture students, on the other hand, received packages of Rs. 29.3 lakh and Rs. 41 lakh, respectively.
