BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the by-election for the Jalandhar lok Sabha seat would prove to be a turning point for the Punjab politics as the AAP is set to be trounced once again.
In a statement Chugh said people of Punjab have woken up to the cheating and fallacies of the Bhagwant Mann government led by Arvind Kejriwal.
He said the Jalandhar by-election would see the defeat of AAP after the Sangrur by-election where Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann lost decisively on his home seat.
The BJP is likely to script a new chapter in the politics of Punjab in the by-election where Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal will win by a huge margin.
He said after a humiliating defeat in Sangrur, the Kejriwal-Mann combination would face yet another defeat in Jalandhar because people have realised the cheating and false promises the AAP had made in the past.
