Today, Director General of Police Shatrujeet Kapur unveiled three books on legal provisions: The Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023, The Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, and The Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023. authored by the esteemed former Director General of Police, Dr. KP Singh.
At the event, Kapur expressed his gratitude to Dr. KP Singh and conveyed his best wishes, highlighting the commendable achievement of producing these books in record time. He also emphasized the significant benefits these publications will bring.
Dr. KP Singh, the former Director General of Police, Haryana, elaborated on the books, stating that they accurately document changes in the law. He mentioned that the books succinctly comment on legal provisions, detailing the modifications made.
Additionally, they compare the old rules with the new ones, spotlighting the legal provisions replaced and newly added sections. Dr. KP Singh added that while the books are presently in English, a Hindi translation will be available next week.
The event witnessed the presence of Additional Director General of Police OP Singh, AS Chawla, and several other senior officers from the police department.”
