Election commission of India (ECI) has issued special summary revision of electoral roll for bye election in 64- Ludhiana West.
Divulging the details, Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C informed that special summary revision w.r.t.1-4-2025 as the qualifying date shall be done as per the schedule below:
1. Rationalization of Polling Stations by 4-4-2025 (Friday)
2. Publication of integrated draft electoral roll on 9-4-2025 (Wednesday)
3. Period of filing claims & objections from 9-4-25 (Wednesday) to 24-4-25 (Thursday)
4. Disposal of claims of objections by 2-5-2025 (Friday)
5. Final Publication of electoral roll on 5-5-25 (Monday)
CEO Sibin C informed that a letter to all recognized political parties of the state has been issued regarding the Special Summary Revision of electoral roll for Ludhiana West.
