Details of Nomination papers filed by candidates, shall be available from May 13 on website of concerned district: State Election Commission

General Municipal Elections of 08 Municipal Corporations, 76 Municipal Councils and 21 Nagar Panchayats in the State (total 105) have been announced by the State Election Commission, and are scheduled to be held on 26.05.2026 (Tuesday).

For these elections, filing of nomination papers by candidates will commence on 13.05.2026 (Wednesday). Last date for filing Nominations is 16.05.2026 (Saturday) (by 3.00 p.m.).

It is informed to the general public that the details of Nomination papers alongwith the affidavits etc. filed by the candidates, shall be available in the public domain from 13.05.2026 onwards on the website of the concerned district, and the link to the same is also available on the Commission’s website “sec.punjab.gov.in” as under:
