After the Central Government approved the decision to conduct caste census today, MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that although the decision is of the Center but the victory is of Congress.
The Congress party has been working hard for this for many years and has been demanding, which the Central Government has had to accept today.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that this decision of the Central Government is the result of Rahul Gandhi’s hard work.
Rahul Gandhi was trying for many years, which has borne fruit today. MP Aujla said that Congress Party leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge had been wanting for years that people of every section should get a chance to come forward, for which caste census was very important.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that BJP has always been opposing caste census, whereas in the states where Congress is there, it is already happening. But now the Center has had to bow down.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that Congress has always been emphasizing that people of every religion, class live in India. This census will take the country forward strongly.
All classes will get all rights equally. He said that of course BJP is saying today that caste census is their decision but history is witness to how Congress has always kept this demand. Rahul Gandhi had also said in an interview in America recently that not supporting the caste census by the central government is anti-national.
Rahul Gandhi had said that “Certainly our systems are being taken over – education, healthcare, political, bureaucratic system. For me, it is important that the truth comes out about what is going on in India, who has what access, who controls which institutions, who is where. For me, this is a fundamental nationalist exercise.
I think not supporting the caste census is anti-national,”. MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that he congratulates Rahul Gandhi and the entire Congress for this decision and hopes that this will prove to be an excellent decision in the interest of the country.
