The Moga Municipal Corporation has demolished an unauthorized commercial plotting in the area under its jurisdiction.
The colony, located near Bughipura Chowk, was being developed without obtaining the necessary permissions from the authorities. The developer had started constructing roads and commercial plotting without seeking approval from the Municipal Corporation.
According to Additional Commissioner Sarang preet Singh Aujla, the developer was instructed to stop the construction work and submit the necessary documents for approval. However, despite the instructions, the developer failed to comply, leading to the demolition of the unauthorized colony under the Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act.
The Additional Commissioner has warned that any future development of colonies must adhere to government guidelines and obtain necessary approvals. Violators will face strict legal action.
